October 08, 2015- ๐ฅ BREAKING CHANGE: Database file format update. The Realm file created by this version cannot be used by previous versions of Realm.
- ๐ฅ BREAKING CHANGE: Removed deprecated methods and constructors from the Realm class.
- ๐ฅ BREAKING CHANGE: Introduced boxed types Boolean, Byte, Short, Integer, Long, Float and Double. Added null support. Introduced annotation @Required to indicate a field is not nullable. String, Date and byte[] became nullable by default which means a RealmMigrationNeededException will be thrown if an previous version of a Realm file is opened.

At least one device type (HTC One X) contains system bugs that prevents Realm's encryption from functioning properly. This is now detected, and an exception is thrown when trying to open/create an encrypted Realm file. It's up to the application to catch this and decide if it's OK to proceed without encryption instead.
